Build A Cake

As most of you know I have been making cakes, testing cakes, and thinking about cakes for a while. I have been having a blast trying different things. I never realize all the fun things you can do with a cake. (or that I would even like it:) So my biggest struggle was how to price a cake. Online research shows you can charge anywhere from $1-$500,000....okay maybe that is exaggerating a little, but it was a huge range. So my cake price will be called "BUILD A CAKE" Translation you pick your price by how much you decide you want on your cake. Here is an example....

We are going to start with a 6" round 2 layer Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake $26......

So if you stop right here you would get a cake for $26 that would look something like this (but with Peanut butter frosting)....

But what is the fun in that so let add some chocolate gnocchi...so our cake is now $30

A little better but let say we want to add some Reeses Pieces.....$35

You might want to ignore the horrible quality pictures, the once at the end will be awesome. (not taken by me:) So we need to add some Reeses.....$40

Looking better right?!?!......So we will just dress it up a little more and here you have the finished product. Total $40.

So being so new to cakes I am offering custom cakes with a bit of hesitation...why, because I really have not had a lot of practice (okay like I have made 1 custom cake ever)....but would love to continue to learn. Therefore I am willing to work with you on a custom cake if you are willing to take that chance. Custom Cake will be charge by "time and material" (Time being a little leniant since it will take me longer while learning:) Here is my 1 and only custom cake that I have done.....

This is the a "smash cake" size.

ALL CAKES MUST BE ORDERED 2 WEEKS IN ADVANCE

Somethings to Remember:

1. All my cakes are made from scratch.

2. When stopping at any of the above layers, the cake will be more nicely finished than what is pictured above.

3. You can always ask for something not listed on the menu and I will see what can be done.
